FAQs

Google Earth

Q: Do all profiles have Google Earth and Map options?

A: Yes. This is an optional feature.

You can see how this feature works and then quickly turn it off. This feature is great for members who are comfortable utilizing it.

Q: When will Google Earth update pictures?

A: I have no idea. Newly constructed locations may look like a Cow Pasture.

Q: Can you describe each profile?

A: Yes, Virtual Profiles are listed below.

Profiles

Individual Virtual Profile
Our virtual community was created specifically for this member type. The individual grants access to other members
  • Members can add additional information to the extent they are comfortable with.  However, members should limit adding any information they don’t want their connections to view.  There are boxes under "Edit My Profile” that can be hidden.  For example, if members enter their email address when registering and they don’t want it visible, they can uncheck the box next to it.  If all you want is your name and picture ID or head shot, that's fine.

Professional Virtual Profile

  • This profile grants access to the community and many resources and will provide an array of information.  Interact with the entire community.  Members can market themselves.
  • Other members can search services using keywords.
  • Visit our Career Center: Post job openings, find potential candidates, search openings, post volunteer openings, and subscribe to new posting notifications.
